KG Sports
Building Christ-like Character Through Sports.
KG Sports is a kid-focused, family-friendly, Christ-centered sports league where we aim to encourage kids in their faith in Christ while also having fun playing a sport. The aim of our leagues, camps, and clinics is for athletes of all levels to grow in their game and their faith in Jesus Christ. From energizing sports sessions to meaningful times in God’s Word, every part of camp is designed to challenge and inspire.
What We Do
Learning how to play sports is important for many families. Besides skills, sports players are taught valuable lessons in teamwork, cooperation, and graciousness. For some Christian families, the time commitment and/or behavior of the members of a traditional sports league do not align with their family values. Kids of Grace Sports can fill an important desire for Christian families who want their children to play sports but not let sports and the sports culture overtake family time and family values
Programs We Offer
How We Do It
We exist for families who want more for their children than the pressure and burnout common in today’s sports world. We provide a fun, balanced, and spiritually grounded athletic experience for kids of all skill levels.
Each weekly session includes:
Skill Development Clinic (45 minutes)
Game Play & Scrimmages (45 minutes)
Devotional & Character Moment
Our coaches emphasize teamwork over showmanship, growth over perfection, and Christlike sportsmanship over competition at any cost.
KG Sports is where athletes learn the game, love the game, and honor God through the way they play.
Basketball 2026 FAQ
-
We are a Christ-centered youth athletics program focused on discipleship, skill development, and creating a grace-filled environment where kids can learn, grow, and thrive.
-
The season is 6 weeks, running January–February 2026, with all teams meeting one day per week.
-
Tuesdays – Older Athletes (Trailblazers, ages 13–17)
Fridays – Younger Athletes (Warriors, ages 9–12 & Challenger ages 6–8)
-
Older athletes tend to have more stable school and activity schedules, making Tuesdays easier for consistent attendance. Younger athletes generally respond better to end-of-week sessions when families have fewer academic obligations and bedtime is less of a factor.
Additionally, we need the gym space.
-
KG Sports is not a formal league. We are a program focuses primarily on skill development, scrimmages and games, and discipleship, not league standings. Ultimately we want the kids to have fun and love Jesus.
-
Teams this season will be more fluid than in previous years.
We will rotate players approximately every two weeks to:Keep teams balanced
Promote friendship across the program
Spread out the competitiveness and emphasize growth
Give all athletes equal opportunities to learn and play
-
Rotations help us maintain fairness, minimize lopsided teams, and support our mission of creating a grace-filled, encouraging sports environment.
